Launch instance
>Choose the instance type(small/medium etc)
>Configure instance
>Add Storage

>Next Tag instance

>Leave it as it is and click on continue button combination of Key/value pair
>Configure security group
>Assign security group details
>Change it or assign name and description for security group name
>Review and launch 
>Provide a key and value
>Download and save it into local
>Finally launch instance and waiting for 2/2 status checks and instance running status
Now we setup LAMP in our Ubuntu

sudo chmod 400 /path/myfile.pem
ssh -i /path/myfile.pem ubuntu@ipaddress

  • sudo apt-get install apache2
  • sudo apt-get install mysql-server
  • sudo apt-get install php libapache2-mod-php php-mcrypt php-mysql
That’s it your LAMP environment is ready . You can check it by navigating your instance URL that is for example look like this ipadderess in browser . It will give you message Localhost is working something like that .

Below are steps to install Drupal 7

  1. cd /var/www/html
  2. wget  http://ftp.drupal.org/files/projects/drupal-7.12.tar.gz
  3. tar xvf drupal-7.12.tar.gz
  4. mv drupal-7.12 drupal
Create the configuration file and grant permissionsIn the sites/default directory, copy the default.settings.php file and rename the copied file to settings.php.

cp sites/default/default.settings.php sites/default/settings.php

Give the web server write privileges (666 or u=rw,g=rw,o=rw) to the configuration file.

chmod a+w sites/default/settings.php

Give the web server write privileges to the sites/default directory.

chmod a+w sites/default

Create the Drupal database
You can do this by command line, or through phpMyAdmin or another database client.

mysqladmin -u username -p create databasename

Log in to MySQL:

mysql -u username -p

At the MySQL prompt, enter:

GRANT SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE, CREATE, DROP, INDEX, ALTER, CREATE TEMPORARY TABLES, LOCK TABLES
ON databasename.*
TO ‘username’@’localhost’ IDENTIFIED BY ‘password’;

Run the installation script
You are now ready to run the installation script. Point your browser to the base URL of your website
